Did a few lessons with Sylvain, everything was exactly as I’d want. He’s direct, helpful, and the equipment was all perfect for my level. I’d definitely recommend.

Had a really excellent experience learning to kitesurf with Sylvain. Thoroughly recommended. Very professional, high quality instruction, no time wasting. I now feel confident and prepared to kitesurf by myself.

Super experience, did some kite years ago, needed to start from the beginning. Sylvain was very good to explain the theory and very helpful to make the practice work. After 2 hrs we were already able to fly the kite in the water. Started to feel how kite surfing works. We were 2 to take the course and I think this a good size to learn fast and effectively.
Sylvain is precise and nice to deal with, very useful when you learn.

Sylvain is an excellent instructor — patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about kitesurfing. He made the whole learning process enjoyable and gave me the confidence to get on the water. Sylvain was super accommodating with my annoying schedule of often not being in the country and adapted well to my abilities. He is super nice and it is obvious that he has been teaching for a while. His tips are class!

I had a great time learning to Kitesurf with Sylvain. He had me up kitesurfing in just 3 private lessons thanks to his coaching. He gave me plenty of time to fly the kite with drills to get used to it and that made all the difference when it came time to give the board a go! Highly recommend. Thanks!

Just had my first lesson with Sylvain and can highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting lessons and taking up kite surfing. He is a great teacher, very knowledgeable and tailors the lesson to make sure you are confident before moving onto the next exercise. I got the lesson as a present and have booked in for my next lesson this week.

Yesterday, I had my first kitesurfing lesson, where the instructor was Sylvian Duibis.It was an amazing experience and a fantastic lesson. I never thought the wind could be such a fascinating force. Sylvian communicates his knowledge perfectly and is truly a very understanding and patient person.

Thanks to his guidance, I gradually started to control the kite and feel the joy of this adventure. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something exciting — it’s sport and learning in one.

I started with Sylvain last year and he’s been my instructor for over a year now. Here’s 5 reasons to think about hooking up with him as an instructor: 1) he’s patient so you can learn at your own pace 2) he helps you gradually master the fundamentals so you can piece them all together to get kite surfing for real 3)He’s a very good communicator before, during and after the lesson telling you what you done right so you can build on that, 4) he’s got lots of gear including wetsuits, so your upfront investment is the lesson and that’s pretty much it and 5) he’s a super nice guy who makes it fun and is passionate about getting his students kite surfing safely and with confidence.

The lesson with Sylvain was absolutely amazing! He was very patient and considerable, explaining everything in details during the lesson and even provided videos with feedback for each video afterwards! I’ll definitely go for more lessons with him!

Had my first kitesurfing lesson with Sylvain in Sutton last week and it was brilliant. He’s very experienced and knowledgeable — you can feel that straight away. I really appreciated the strong focus on safety: before even going near the water, we spent time on wind conditions, understanding how kites work and practicing with smaller kites. By the time we moved into the water with the full kite, I felt confident and prepared (though definitely needing lots more practice!). All the equipment was provided and was top quality. One lesson down and three to go — highly recommended for anyone looking to learn properly from an excellent and patient instructor.

My girlfriend and I did a three hour Kitesurfing lesson in Sutton with Sylvain; it was a great and novel experience with Sylvain demonstrating how to fly the kite properly. We then entered the sea, in a shallow area, where we both enjoyed the thrilling sensation of being dragged by the kite.

I couldn’t recommend this activity higher as it’s unique and thrilling, while also v safe.

Sylvain is a great teacher of Kite surfing 😊🪁🏄‍♀️I got a lesson from my boyfriend as a Christmas present 🎁💕, and we did it together in summer. I didn’t know anything about kitesurfing before, but Sylvain explained us everything so in detail with lovely smiles 😊✨ We learned how to fly a kite for the first few hours which is very difficult for the first timers. No matter how many times we dropped the kite, Sylvain was very patient and helped us fly the kite again which was very kind of him😊✨ At the end of the lesson, he let us fly the kite in the shallow beach and we enjoyed the small surfing that was very fun😁 I recommend anyone who likes to challenge some new adventures 😊💪 Merci, Sylvain🙏✨

I did four lessons with Sylvain and really appreciated his calm and clear teaching style. He explains things really well and gives you space to practice while also stepping in with helpful advice. The lessons were great fun and well-paced. I now feel confident with water starts and I’m getting more comfortable with the sport each time I’m out. Wouldn’t hesitate to book more lessons with Sylvain. 10/10 would recommend, excellent teacher!

I booked 4 semi-private lessons with Sylvain and I am glad I did. He is a very good teacher. His ability to show me each step and clearly explain where I went wrong is exceptional. He is patient with practice when needed. He even provided guidance when I was shopping for my own equipment. I feel much more confident about kitesurfing after training with Sylvain.

Took a few lessons with you now and it’s super easy and Sylvain is super flexible especially when the weather is trying to play tricks on you!
He gives great advice and always knows what to look for. Kiting is as far as I know a lot about feeling how your kite behaves and getting a feel for the wind and water.
Sylvain is able to teach you to get that feel for it!
It’s a great learning environment and you can make big progress with Sylvain from learning how to fly the kite to zooming across the water!!
Would definitely recommend and will take more lessons myself with him very soon hopefully!

Sylvian is 10 out of 10 instructor , from flying the training kite on beach to that moment you are gliding solo along the water,he gives great advice on what is the best and safest practice to build into your routine. Excellent equipment could not recommend him highly enough…definitely go for the 4 lesson package, as there is a lot to learn, he also helps out with knowledge on getting your own kite surfing gear purchased ..if you want lessons on a 1 to 1 basic..he is your man…enjoy

Took a first lesson with no prior experience. Sylvain was very knowledgeable and a great teacher, safety was no. 1. All the equipment was top quality, he has a lot of gear to make sure you’ve the right setup for the wind speeds on the day. Gained a lot of confidence in kite control within 2 hours!

Great lesson with Sylvain, he is a great teacher and communicator and the lesson was well structured starting with safety, kite handling on training kite before using larger kite in the water. Practiced controlling large kite and then progressing to water starts. Used walkie talkie attached to helmet to give instructions which was smart. Really enjoyed the whole experience and highly recommend. 5/5 definitely 👍

Sylvain was a great instructor, gave helpful hints and instructions the whole time. Safety was always a big priority and it was great to learn how to kite surf in a week 👌

I did 4 lessons with Sylvain over the span of multiple weeks. To be fair, I did some lessons years ago already, but after these 4 Iessons with Sylvain I was finally able to not just stand but also go upwind.

The lessons were great and Sylvain really knows what he is talking about. Equipment used is A-brand and high quality. All the basics and safety essentials are covered, but especially in the water Sylvains tips are extremely helpful to get you standing up in no time. The spots we went to were great too, some nice views and plenty of shallow water suitable for beginners. Highly recommend, just do it!

Thanks Sylvain for a great interdiction to kitesurfing I thought i would need a lot of upper body strength, but with the Harness holding you it’s a lite tuch on the bar, to turn I’ll keep up the Practice, I’d highly recommend Sylvain for the professionalism and great time keeping.

I can completely recommend taking lessons with Sylvain. I did my first run on the board during my third lesson (exactly as I hoped). The lessons are well thought out, the exercises help to progress quickly. Sylvain is extremely trustworthy, always on time, communication is on point. Very nice and funny guy, lessons are a lot of fun. Lastly, I have always felt very safe. I thought I might get scared due to being hooked in/high wind force, but not for a second. He is excellent at explaining the basics, getting you familiar with the kite & gear, shows you all the safety procedures (most important bit to learn), explains the importance of planning/assessing before going on the water, demonstrates the kite exercises perfectly and gets you to repeat until you fully understand the theory and can complete them in practice advancing though the key basics step by step.

Sylvain is also very well prepared and has thought of everything to make your lessons as fun and practical as possible – winter wetsuits to keep you warm, walkie talkies so you can hear his instructions while further away, colourful shirts to wear so you can see each other out in the water (black/navy wetsuits are very difficult to see in water).

Highly recommend and will be booking my next lesson soon! 😀

Thanks for the good experience! Learned how to kite surf from scratch with Sylvain even though I had zero experience on boards. He knows the conditions and kite spots in and out. Is patient and positive so you will enjoy your time. First lesson kite control, second one water dragging and third one the board. Nonetheless to drive correctly left, right and upwind you should calculate with more than three lessons. Worth the money. Thanks again

Safety was a top priority and the coaching we were given helped us progress a lot in the 3 hour session.

Sylvain is a great instructor, and as a beginner takes you through all the necessary steps before using a full kite in the water. I felt confident throughout with the constant 1-1 feedback. I’d definitely recommend and I’ve already booked a follow up lesson.

Highly recommend Sylvian for a fantastic kiteboarding lesson. I had previous experience kiteboarding on land and only needed one lesson to get up to speed, which Sylvian tailored perfectly to my needs.
Sylvian’s use of a radio system in the helmet during the lesson was a game changer, allowing for immediate and valuable feedback while out on the water. Thanks for a great lesson!

I was curious to try kitesurfing and got a few lessons as a present for birthday by my partner. Definitely a great experience, done my four lessons with Sylvain and now considering getting my own gear. Needless to say, Sylvain is a great coach, very patient, friendly, and very accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed my lessons and even have a few videos captured of my earlier, funnier moment of using a kite & board in water! Thank you Sylvain!

-Cant recommend him enough
-Brilliant coaching, clear, concise and easy to understand
– Kite equipment is of a high quality, wetsuits and booties etc are all clean and undamaged.
-Prices beat all his competitors while also having smaller class sizes
-Hes a top bloke sound as a pound, and an absolute gentleman

Bottom line is, if youre looking for lessons, just do yourself a favour and do these.

Sylvain is an excellent instructor and takes a highly personalised approach to his students. I was able to progress very quickly because of his clear and insightful guidance.
He is also incredibly sound and it is an absolute pleasure to head out into the water for a few hours with him. Yesterday on our lesson the winds were lighter than expected for the first hour and Sylvain kindly extended our session to ensure we got a good run at it. I cannot recommend Sylvain enough to anyone considering kitesurfing lessons. A 5-star experience.

It was an absolutely brillant experience. He was very knowledgeable and safety conscious and made me feel at ease. He was also very patient and he made everything so easy to understand, his instruction where very clear and easy to follow.

Myself and my friend Ciaran both did lessons with Sylvain. We went from total beginners to now being confident enough to go out by ourselves and continue to improve as kitesurfers.
He took safety seriously which is very important and he was a really friendly and knowledgeable instructor who made the lessons fun but also knew when to push us and allow us to progress.

Today I had my first session with Sylvain. He is an all-round pro; well prepared, super patient, eager to explain & a good teacher.

He mainly teaches at Poolbeg which I think is better for beginners or intermediates than Dollymount as it is shallower & has smaller waves.

I had no experience Kitesurfing until I met Sylvain but I enjoyed every minute of every lesson. I was up on the board on my 3rd lesson, testament to how good a teacher he is. Great equipment, very good wet-suits to keep you warm(even in November!) and really good instruction ensuring you progress quickly. I can’t wait to get back out with him again soon. Highly recommend Sylvain for all levels of Kitsurf training.

this was my first time ever flying a kite. I had 0 experience and I managed to grab control, I can’t wait for my next lesson and under Slyvian’s guidance I’ll be riding the waves in no time. 5/5 would recommend just give it a go!!
