I was curious to try kitesurfing and got a few lessons as a present for birthday by my partner. Definitely a great experience, done my four lessons with Sylvain and now considering getting my own gear. Needless to say, Sylvain is a great coach, very patient, friendly, and very accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed my lessons and even have a few videos captured of my earlier, funnier moment of using a kite & board in water! Thank you Sylvain!

Sylvain’s a fantastic instructor: Incredibly patient with a knack for explaining the theory and technique, and a good focus on safety. I can’t rate him highly enough.

I never leave reviews but in this case ill happily give my thoughts if its to help a small business like Slyvian’s
-Cant recommend him enough
-Brilliant coaching, clear, concise and easy to understand
– Kite equipment is of a high quality, wetsuits and booties etc are all clean and undamaged.
-Prices beat all his competitors while also having smaller class sizes
-Hes a top bloke sound as a pound, and an absolute gentleman

Bottom line is, if youre looking for lessons, just do yourself a favour and do these.
Have done 3 lessons and looking forward to the next yeow

Sylvain is an excellent instructor and takes a highly personalised approach to his students. I was able to progress very quickly because of his clear and insightful guidance.
He is also incredibly sound and it is an absolute pleasure to head out into the water for a few hours with him. Yesterday on our lesson the winds were lighter than expected for the first hour and Sylvain kindly extended our session to ensure we got a good run at it. I cannot recommend Sylvain enough to anyone considering kitesurfing lessons. A 5-star experience.

I don’t usually write reviews but Sylvain is an amazing professional instructor and my experience with him was so good! He teaches kitesurfing in a fun and approachable way and has soooo much Patience! I had so much fun and managed to get the basics of kitesurfing after only 4 lessons. I highly recommend this guy!! thank you so much Sylvain you are the BEST!!

Just had my first lesson today with Sylvain.
It was an absolutely brillant experience. He was very knowledgeable and safety conscious and made me feel at ease. He was also very patient and he made everything so easy to understand, his instruction where very clear and easy to follow.
I’m really looking forward to my next lessons with Sylvain

Myself and my friend Ciaran both did lessons with Sylvain. We went from total beginners to now being confident enough to go out by ourselves and continue to improve as kitesurfers.
He took safety seriously which is very important and he was a really friendly and knowledgeable instructor who made the lessons fun but also knew when to push us and allow us to progress.
We couldn’t recommend Sylvain any more.

I had great fun! Learned a lot, friendly and safe environment. It was definitely worth it.
Sylvain makes video’s of your training and sends it to you after the lesson. There was some hilarious video’s of me that I could send to my family and friends.
He explained the theory in a way I understood which made my progress quicker.
Give great advice and makes time to get back to questions after your done with your training.
Definitely recommend!!!

We did two sessions with Sylvain and we really enjoy it. We are ready for the third one. Sylvain is a great kitesurfing instructor! He’s very patient and knowledgeable so on top of learning how to do things hands on, he also makes sure to teach you the theory and safety while doing so. I would 100% recommend him as a kitesurfing instructor in Dublin!

Sylvain is excellent instructor with great knowledge and professional and individual approach. I haven’t been the easiest student so it is important to have someone with his levels of patience! I am looking forward to have more lessons and become an independent kitesurfer, and I believe that will happen with Sylvain. He is super fun to be around and I really enjoy every lesson! I took lessons with Sylvain this summer. He is very patient and progressive in his approach to teaching…putting me at ease and building my confidence when learning to fly the kite. If I can learn at 46 years old …anyone can! I highly recommend Sylvain’s lessons.

He is very knowledgeable & patient and has a great ability to instruct you in a calm and clear manner to make sure you are understanding and learning the techniques.

I have had 2 lessons with Sylvain learning to fly the kite and there is so much more to it than I thought. I can’t wait for my next lesson which will be in the water. Sylvain is an excellent instructor, hes very patient allowing you to get to grips with technique before moving on.

My boyfriend had his first lesson today and asked me to leave a review as he is not in Facebook. He was really happy with the lesson and looking forward to his next one next week! Great instructor and overall experience.

I used a voucher I received for my birthday and had a great afternoon with Sylvain. I had no idea there was so much to learn and really appreciated how knowledgeable and patient Sylvain was.
Would recommend to try, especially if you’re looking to get into the sport.

I got a voucher for a lesson, so I went out with Sylvain this weekend and learned loads!
I got a real feel for the wind and Kite surfing as a sport, I really enjoyed the lesson and can’t wait to go out again!

I always felt safe, even when flying with the bigger kites.

Today I had my first session with Sylvain. He is an all-round pro; well prepared, super patient, eager to explain & a good teacher.

He mainly teaches at Poolbeg which I think is better for beginners or intermediates than Dollymount as it is shallower & has smaller waves.

I had no experience Kitesurfing until I met Sylvain but I enjoyed every minute of every lesson. I was up on the board on my 3rd lesson, testament to how good a teacher he is. Great equipment, very good wet-suits to keep you warm(even in November!) and really good instruction ensuring you progress quickly. I can’t wait to get back out with him again soon. Highly recommend Sylvain for all levels of Kitsurf training.

this was my first time ever flying a kite. I had 0 experience and I managed to grab control, I can’t wait for my next lesson and under Slyvian’s guidance I’ll be riding the waves in no time. 5/5 would recommend just give it a go!!
